This is a website about a small speakers agency. You can read it, write to us, and subscribe to the journal. That is most of what there is to agree about.
Nothing on this page takes away a right you would otherwise have. There is no forced arbitration, no class action waiver, and no clause designed to make it hard to complain about us. If we ever disagree, you keep every option you started with, including small claims court.

What the site is
Information about the people we represent and how to reach us. It is not an offer, and sending us an inquiry does not book anything. A speaker is booked only when there is a signed agreement naming the date, the fee and the room. Until then, nothing on this site commits either of us.
We try to keep everything accurate. Bios and topics are written with the speakers and corrected when they tell us to. Anything marked as a draft is exactly that.
What you send us
When you send an inquiry or subscribe, you keep everything you wrote. We do not acquire any rights in it. We use it to reply to you and to do the work, and that is all — the details are in the privacy policy.
Please do not send us confidential information you have not agreed with us first, or anyone else's personal information without their say-so.
What is ours
The design, the writing and the code of this site are ours. The photographs and the words about each speaker belong to that speaker, used with their permission.
Please do not copy the site wholesale or use our name in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not. Quoting us, linking to us, or writing about us is entirely welcome and needs no permission.
Other people's sites
We link to a few. We are not responsible for what is on them.
The honest limits
We will keep this site working and accurate, but we do not promise it is never down and never wrong. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for the site itself, we do — but nothing here limits what we owe you under an actual agreement. If you have booked a speaker or signed with us, that contract governs and this page does not touch it.
Changes
If we change these terms we update the date above. If a change actually affects something you have already done with us, we will tell you rather than relying on you noticing.
Law
California law. Disputes go to a conversation first, then mediation, and only then anywhere else.
